PWYP Norway's "Piping Profits":http://www.pwyp.no/piping-profits reporter, Nick Mathiason, went to Bolivia last month to talk about secrecy in the extractive industry.
Campaign group, the Centre for Studies and Support for Local Development (CEADL) invited Nick Mathiason to speak in La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz. He talked about the secret world of global oil, gas and mining firms placing the report in the context of ongoing transparency legislation and growing awareness of multinational tax avoidance. Accompanying him on the tour was Marco Escalera, the Bolivian transparency campaigner who attempted to establish key financial data about extractive firms operating in Bolivia.
