Juan Herrera (25) from Ecuador works for the civil society organisation Grupo Faro. Oil extraction and mining are in focus in Ecuador, and Herrera has analysed the first mining contract that was signed in Ecuador two years ago. In this video, Juan tells about why he applied to PWYP Norways TRACE programme, and how he wants to use the knowledge in his home country.
– We can spread this knowledge in our home countries. I can use what I learn here in further research, says Herrera.
