What should the government do to secure the Norwegian tax base and Norwegian jobs?
In the Granavolden-platform (In Norwegian) which was established in connection with the extension of the Government, the Government has aimed to:
- Secure the tax base by avoiding undermining it.
- Prevent profit shifting by securing the tax base and by being a driving force internationally for the long-term and principle-based common solutions against tax evasion.
PWYP Norway has in that regard sent a letter to the Ministry of Finance and the members of The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs on how we can implement nearly complete protection against most types of tax leaks and ensure equal competition through fair taxation.
