What does Plan Norway work with?
Plan Norway is part of the development organization Plan International, which works with 1,5 million children through our sponsor program, and we cooperate with local communities in 50 countries to ensure the realization of all children's rights.
Why did Plan Norway choose to become a member organization of PWYP Norway?
The main responsibility to ensure the realization of children's rights belongs to the authorities. Therefore, Plan wants to contribute to enable the authorities to collect the proper amount of taxes, and to help see that the people have the possibility to keep the authorities accountable for spending the tax income on necessary services, such as education and health services for children.
