1. What does CARE work with?
CARE is working on poverty alleviation through providing women's economic opportunities and strengthen their position in society. CARE works with women both because women make up the majority of the worlds poorest, and because increased equality creates development that benefits everyone. One of CARE's most important methods is to establish savings- and credit groups, where members have the opportunity to save safely take out loans for investment and access to a distress fund in acute need. They also offer courses such as literacy, numeracy and writing. Many groups organize grain banks, irrigation and vegetable gardens to be better equipped to cope with droughts.

Transparency in international financial flows is important for fighting corruption and promoting change towards a more fair and sustainable world.
